ESET alert "feature is not monitored by Windows Security Center"

E como posso solucionar este erro? Caso tenha como criar uma tarefa, ela irá reiniciar os equipamentos para ativar? FDE 1.4.52.0 ignores proxy settings

Since ESET FDE version 1.4.52.0 the proxy settings seem to be ignored. We configured the ESET bridge proxy in the "connection" tab in our FDE policies. Subsequently the activation is not working, as efdeais.exe tries to connect the license server directly. The only solution for us was to downgrade to version 1.3.3.35 in order to activate all our clients.

Endpoint client installed, but ERA doesn't realize it

Attempted to install local client on machine running Windows Pro 10 22H2. ERA repeatedly reports that the install has failed. See first attachment. It also doesn't show in installed apps in ERA, only the management tool does. See second attachment. I went to the local machine to try and install it manually, and lo and behold, the client is installed, and up and running as instructed. The question I have now is how to make ERA recognize that the install was successful and that the application can be managed from ERA? Thanks, Carl

Policy assigned in Installer not visible in Management

For multiple clients we use our own hosted ESET management portal. Each client has it's own installer with a particular policy. When ESET is installed the policy rules are showing on the client software and every looks to be working as intended. But when you click on Policies in the main menu it's says: assigned: 0 and applied: 0 This also applies to Computer details -> Assigned Policies. This only shows the default update policy. Only after I manually assign groups or computers to policies the correct data is displayed in the portal. This feels very strange to me. Can anyone elaborate?

Cannot add several columns in ESET Protect Reports

Hello everyone. I'm trying to create a report in ESET Protect and I face the following problem. I cannot add all the columns I want for my report. Specifically, I want to create a report that will contain the following information about some PCs of my organization: IP address, MAC address, Computer name, OS name and Device Model. I want to filter the report based on a specific device model and have all the information I mentioned above. When I try to create it, it is impossible to add all these columns because some of them are not shown when I select others. For example, I cannot have the MAC address when I select all the others. Does someone have a clue why is this happening and if there is a way to solve it?

Updating ESET Management Agent with Puppet on Windows hosts

Hi all, Not sure if it's already discussed before, as I can't find anything in the forums, nor in the KB. So, is there a way to update the Agent on endpoint devices with Puppet when the peer certificate has expired, instead of using the GPO method, which is explained here? I am asking since the GPO method requires (at least with us) couple of gpudate /force runs and couple of restarts of the client machines.

Hi everyone, I had the issue with generate reports about Device control connected (allowed /blocked ) clients from eset protect server.As far as i rmember, 2 months ago, i can view the reports about Device control connected (allowed /blocked ), but today the report does not show any information ( include the old report before). So is there the solution for generate reports to view all Device control connected (allowed /blocked ) clients from eset protect server ? And on clients, And do i need config what kind of Logging severity ?

11.0.2032.0 block some old nas excel file access

Hi: we have a customer with endpoint antivirus 11.0.2032.0. they said they can not open some excel files at an old nas. I remote login to one of these pc and found the situation is very strange: 1. only some excel files can not open. most files are ok. excel (version office 2019 installed at win11) said it can not find the file. 2. the file can be opened if disable eset. I try to find out which option is affecting. and I found I need to disable "real-time file system protection" => "network drives" 3. I try to access the file with UNC path or mapping the path to a disk number (like P:). the result is the same. 4. eset didn't report any thing when excel can not open the file. 5. I copy the file to local disk or to another file server, the file can be opened correctly. 6. I downgrade to 10.1.2058.0 and everything is fine.

Hi all, Is there the solution to block web with keyword ? As i know Eset endpoint just block via URL or category, however, admin can not add all the url violated ( for example web sex , which are many urls we can not manage). Thanks in advanced.

Duplication of a machine in on-prem consolle

We have Mail Security installed on one server and server security on another server. Both machines are duplicating itselfs in on-premise console. I have reinstalled both angents. All is updated, everything is up to date, but nothing has helped us... Does anyone know what to do rather then unistall the ESET itself?

Hi, I'm trying to download update with MirrorTool.exe (v1.0.1560.0) from Windows 10 but I'm getting the error "Error: ParseLicenseFile: Cannot parse the license file. Error occured."
